It is manufactured especially for those who love elegant style. This new model is intended to optimize functionality, control, and aesthetics while preserving the bike’s signature extended operational range.
Powerful 2000W Motor
The key improvement in the limited edition is its 2000W BLDC motor, which is considered to be a huge boost from the 1500W hub motor in the standard Velocity 180. The upgradation renders into a top speed of 85 km/h, a big leap from the earlier 65 km/h, making the ride more dynamic and road-ready for daily commuting and city driving.
Bold New Design
The Special Edition is highly pinpointed with a red color scheme, which is responsible for giving it a sporty, aggressive look that makes it elegant and different on the streets. It’s a clear nod to style-conscious riders who desire more than just performance.
Dual Disc Brakes & Tubeless Tires
For improved safety, Vlektra has added dual disc brakes—at the front and rear—ensuring more reliable stopping power in all weather conditions. Complementing this is the inclusion of tubeless tires, which are not only safer during punctures but also require less maintenance.

Improved Torque and Ride Modes
With increased torque from 100 Nm to 120 Nm, the Special Edition offers a more responsive throttle experience, ensuring smoother acceleration and better control, especially on inclines or during overtakes.
Another smart addition is three distinct ride modes, including reverse assist giving riders the flexibility to adapt to different riding conditions with ease—either it saving battery, casual city riding, or hitting peak performance.
Quick Charging
The Velocity 180 Special Edition comes with a 72V 36Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, the same as the standard model, but with an improved charging time of just 3.5 hours (using a 10 Amp AC charger), trimmed down from the previous 4 hours. This gives users faster turnaround and less downtime.

The introductory price for the Velocity 180 Special Edition is Rs. 375,000, with bookings open now against a down payment of Rs. 50,000. Vlektra is also offering test rides at its showrooms so potential buyers can encounter the upgrade firsthand.

Vlektra has ratified that deliveries are about to commence within 30 days, giving excited customers a short wait before they hit the road with the brand-new Special Edition.
