Scholarship Levels and Available Seats
The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2026–27 is offering a total of 400 funded seats for Pakistani students across different degree levels:
Bachelor’s Degree
• 200 seats

One-Tier Master’s (OTM)
• 70 seats total
- There are 20 seats for Medicine or General Medicine
- 10 seats for Dentistry

Eligibility Criteria
Furthermore, to be eligible for the Fully-Funded Hungary Scholarship 2026–27, applicants must meet the following criteria set by HEC Pakistan and the Hungarian Government:
- Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan or AJK. Candidates enrolled in the final year or final semester of their current degree are allowed to apply. There is no upper age limit, but applicants must be at least 18 years old on or before 31 August 2026.
- For Bachelor’s and One-Tier Master’s programs (Medicine, Dentistry, etc.), applicants must complete HSSC/Intermediate or equivalent before 1 August 2026. For Master’s programs, completion of 16 years of education (Bachelor’s degree) is required before the same date. PhD applicants must hold a completed Master’s/MS/MPhil degree by 1 August 2026. Failure to submit final degrees and transcripts on the Stipendium Hungaricum portal by the deadline will result in cancellation.
- Applicants must provide a valid HAT or USAT test score with a minimum of 50% marks. Attestation of documents is not required at the initial stage, but will be mandatory after HEC nomination.

Final scholarship selection rests with the Tempus Public Foundation, not HEC. Applicants with dual nationality are not eligible.
