The drama "Masoom" on HUM TV is a moving story that explores the struggles of dreams, family responsibilities, and the unpredictable nature of fate. The plot is revolving on Dilshad (which is acted by Imran Ashraf), a talented but struggling singer from Faisalabad. After the death of hi parents, Dilshad decided to go to Karachi with his younger sister, in order to seek a better life, there. However, his journey proves to be very arduous there; he is robbed of his belongings almost immediately, leaving him helpless in a big, heartless city. He eventually able to find shelter in the house of Neelo (played by Sonya Hussyn), a lively and somewhat spoiled girl. While Neelo’s father is highly anxious to let them stay, Neelo helps them out. At the same time, you see the story of a single father (played by Mikaal Zulfiqar) who is trying his best to bring about his son alone but feels overwhelmed by the major challenges associated with parenting.
