The highly regarded 2025 version of the Wagon R from Suzuki has been unveiled, providing drivers with tight budgets and city dwellers with an affordable and practical option. Continuing its legacy of reliability and fuel efficiency, the new Wagon R promises to deliver a comfortable and spacious ride in a compact, cost-effective package.
Features of the Suzuki Wagon R 2025
Efficiency and Engine
The 2025 Wagon R is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque. The Wagon R models have two gearbox options: manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology, which provides pleasant driving in urban environments. The Wagon R distinguishes itself for its fuel efficiency, which ranges from 14-16 km/L in urban traffic to more than 22 km/L on highway drives, allowing passengers to travel long distances cheaply.
Dimensions and Usability
Despite its small length of 3600 mm, the vehicle’s design favors tall-boy proportions, giving it a roomy interior. A generous boot space of 300 liters and a turning radius of just 4.6 meters make it agile in tight city streets. It has a ground clearance of 170 millimeters, which can withstand most urban road conditions without scraping.

Design & Exterior
The Wagon R showcases a boxy but modern design and is constructed on Suzuki’s agile Heartect architecture. Notable attributes comprise a chrome trapezoidal grille, halogen headlights, and optional fog lights on premium variants. The VXL and AGS models come with alloy wheels, while the VXR has standard steel wheels. The car is offered in five colors, ranging from Solid White, Silky Silver, Graphite Grey, Pearl Black, Red, and Blue.
Interior & Features
Inside, the Wagon R is built for utility. It has sufficient leg and headroom, useful storage spaces, and fundamental conveniences like manual air conditioning and steering wheel control. Superior models offer additional benefits, such as a 9-inch infotainment screen, electric windows, centralized locking, and keyless access. The upholstery features beige in the VXR variant and black in the premium trims.
Prices for the 2025 Wagon R:
• VXR: Rs 3,214,000 (~$11,500)
• VXL: Rs 3,412,000 (~$12,200)
• AGS: Rs 3,741,000 (~$13,300)
Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has officially ceased accepting new orders for the Wagon R, marking the conclusion of its local manufacturing, despite the latest model being accessible globally. This decision follows a substantial decline in sales, with only 1,608 units sold over eight months, in contrast to the 1,887 units of the newer Suzuki Cultus.
Analysts suggest that Wagon R faced difficulties meeting consumer preferences due to its outdated design and limited features.
