According to the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA), nearly 3,800 individuals and companies have expressed serious interest in setting up EV charging stations across the country.
The push comes at a time when the government is actively encouraging investment in green mobility. Officials keep on saying that 71 charging stations are already licensed, while another 30 to 35 are in the process of registering.
Moreover, about 128 new applications are under review, and this is strongly depicting the strong appetite in both local and international markets to tap into growing EV landscape of Pakistan.

Lower operational costs mean companies can be capable of investing with greater confidence, while drivers will eventually get advantages from more affordable charging choices.
