Three Pakistani schools have been included in the Top 10 finalists for the coveted World’s Best School Prizes 2025, which is encouraging for the country’s educational system. These awards honour schools that are revolutionising education via creativity, inclusive practices, and community involvement.
In response to COVID-19, T4 Education came up with these. International recognition of these institutions not only emphasises their remarkable achievements but also the ways in which education may change lives beyond the classroom.
Three Pakistani schools among finalists for World’s Best School Prizes 2025
Sanjan Nagar Higher Secondary School, Public Education Trust:
Located in Glaxo Town on Feroz Pur Road, Lahore, this charity school has broken new ground by adopting the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum. Designed to empower marginalized children with critical 21st-century skills, the school started in an abandoned factory and has grown into a vibrant campus with nearly 800 students.
Its innovative approach to overcoming adversity has earned it a spot as a Top 10 finalist in the category for Overcoming Adversity, highlighting its role in transforming opportunities for students from economically vulnerable backgrounds.

Beaconhouse College Programme, Juniper Campus, Quetta:
This Quetta secondary international school is revolutionising STEM teaching in impoverished rural communities. The school is removing obstacles to participatory, hands-on science teaching for its pupils through its flagship initiative, “Science Gaari”—a fully furnished, student-led mobile science lab.
The institution, which was named a Top 10 finalist for the World’s Best School Prize for Community Collaboration, is a prime example of how ingenious community projects may lead to educational change in areas that most need it.
Nordic International School Lahore:
An independent kindergarten, primary, and secondary school in Lahore, Nordic International School distinguishes itself by actively integrating parents into the educational journey. By nurturing a culture of kindness and support within its learning environment, the school fosters a community where students are encouraged to thrive academically and socially.
Its focus on community collaboration has also garnered it recognition as a Top 10 finalist, affirming the impact of a unified school community on educational success.
About the World’s Best School Prizes 2025
Launched in 2022, the World’s Best School Prizes celebrate the best practices from schools around the globe. There are five categories recognizing exceptional work in:
- Community Collaboration
- Environmental Action
- Innovation
- Overcoming Adversity
- Supporting Healthy Lives
Strict criteria will be used by the esteemed Judging Academy to select the ultimate winners, and a separate public vote will determine the Community Choice Award winner.
Following the announcement of the winners in October, all six award holders will receive invitations to the World Schools Summit in Abu Dhabi from November 15–16, where they will share ideas and best practices with leaders in global education.
