The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has unveiled a landmark education reform plan, which is to allocate Rs 364 billion for the fiscal year 2025–26.

New Schools to Expand Access
Education Minister Faisal Tarakai has unveiled some of the major details at a recent press conference, declaring that 1,500 government schools will be managed via public-private partnerships. This move is highly designed to improve

Additionally, 200 new schools will be going to established under the Elementary Education Foundation, helping address overcrowding and reaching communities that previously lacked nearby schools. The government is highly committed to ease the financial burden on families. All primary school students will receive free textbooks, school bags, and stationery, while the ongoing education card scheme offers additional support to low-income households.
