The Gwadar Safe City Project is a flagship security initiative worth Rs 4.96 billion, has reached nearly 30% completion, marking a major milestone in efforts to shift Gwadar into a safe and modern urban hub.
During a recent meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the importance of speeding up execution, depicting the project as a national priority under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
A Modern Security Infrastructure
Federal and provincial governments are funding the project and aim to overhaul Gwadar’s security landscape through state-of-the-art technology. Key features include:
