In a significant boost to Pakistan’s industrial and investment landscape, German engineering powerhouse KSB has announced plans to establish a large-scale manufacturing facility in Pakistan.

The development has been confirmed during a high-level meeting between a KSB delegation and Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, where both sides discussed new avenues of collaboration, industrial growth, and technology transfer.

Strengthening Economic Ties

During the meeting, the German representatives kept on expressing the strong confidence and hope in Pakistan’s improving investment climate, emphasizing that KSB’s prior operations and partnerships in the country had been “highly encouraging.”

The leadership of the organization noted that this expansion marks the beginning of a long-term industrial partnership intended at serving both local and regional markets.

Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh welcomed the decision and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering a conducive business environment. “Pakistan, with its population of over 250 million, offers one of the most promising markets in South Asia,” he said.

He encouraged KSB and other German firms to invest in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) being developed under the government’s investment facilitation framework.

The minister also highlighted Pakistan’s resilient stock market performance, growing investor confidence, and a steady return of macroeconomic stability.

“This is considered to be the right time for international investors to enter Pakistan’s manufacturing sector, which is evolving with renewed focus on innovation and export potential,” he added.

Global Legacy, Local Impact

Founded in 1871, KSB is one of the world’s most respected industrial engineering firms, specializing in pumps, valves, and fluid management systems. The company operates in over 60 countries and plays a major role in
