Chery has introduced plans to install electric-powered vehicle (EV) charging stations in all districts of Sindh. Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah are presently touring the Chery Holdings group headquarters in Wuhu, China. This visit ended in enormous agreements aimed toward enhancing Sindh’s electric-powered vehicle and renewable strength infrastructure.

Chery Holdings is devoted to setting up EV charging stations at intervals of every 50 kilometers throughout all districts in Sindh. This community will support the developing use of electric bikes, cars, and trucks within the province.

A Sustainable Vision for Sindh

Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that modernizing Sindh’s transport devices and decreasing carbon emissions are top government priorities. The proposed EV charging network will not only enhance convenience for EV customers but also stimulate financial increase through growing new job opportunities in the green energy area.

Solar power tasks in rural Sindh

Complementing the EV initiative, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah shared updates on solarization efforts throughout rural areas, specifically for low-profit households. This initiative is already underway and targets to provide off-grid, low-cost energy answers, empowering communities to fulfill their basic power needs independently.

The ministers highlighted that these efforts will

• lessen dependence on costly grid strength

• lower electricity costs for families

• Mitigate load shedding

• Create employment and promote nearby organizations.

Towards a cleanser, Greener Sindh

With strategic investments in electric-powered car infrastructure and renewable energy, Sindh is positioning itself as a leader in Pakistan’s green transition. The combined effect of EV charging stations and solar power deployment is anticipated to seriously improve environmental sustainability, public health, and financial resilience.
