Pakistan’s auto market is about to welcome one of its most high-end electric vehicles yet — the Zeekr 009, a luxury electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) introduced by Capital Smart Motors.
With a price tag between PKR 3.7–4 crore, it is set to be among the most expensive EVs available in the country, raising both excitement and debate about whether Pakistan is ready for such premium options.
Luxury Meets Technology
The Zeekr 009 isn’t just another electric vehicle; it’s being pitched as a lounge on wheels. Its design focuses heavily on passenger comfort and cutting-edge tech. The MPV comes with a giant panoramic glass roof, ambient mood lighting, and a high-end Yamaha sound system, ensuring a premium atmosphere inside.
The second-row seats are where the luxury shines. Covered in plush Nappa leather, they include features like heating, ventilation, massage, built-in headrest speakers, and even a zero-gravity recline — designed to give passengers an airplane business-class feel.

The third row also receives special attention with reclining seats, leather armrests, and oscillating air vents, making long rides comfortable for every passenger.
Comfort for the Driver Too
While passengers get pampered, the driver isn’t left behind. The Zeekr 009 offers a moonroof, Alcantara headliner, massaging seats, ambient dashboard lighting, wireless charging, and a modern digital display cluster. Practicality is not forgotten either, with layered storage compartments, a large rear cargo hold, and even an extra front trunk.
Power and Range
Performance-wise, the Zeekr 009 is no less impressive. It packs 536 horsepower and boasts a range of up to 686 kilometers on a single charge — competitive with some of the world’s leading EVs. Thanks to its advanced fast-charging system, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in just about 12 minutes.
Challenges Ahead
The launch is clearly indicating growing entry of Pakistan into the luxury EV market, moreover it also raises some of the most important questions: Is the local charging infrastructure ready for ultra-luxury EVs? And how will it compete against established names like Lexus and Mercedes-Benz?
Regardless, the Zeekr 009’s arrival is a bold step — one that depicts changing consumer tastes and Pakistan’s slow but steady transition toward a cleaner, tech-driven auto industry.
