Pakistan has taken a huge step toward the future of clean mobility with the official launch of the Riddara RD6, the country’s first all-electric pickup truck. The milestone was announced by Capital Smart Motors (CSM), the official distributor of the vehicle, through their social media platforms, calling the RD6 a point “where electric innovation meets everyday utility.”
Priced at Rs 13,299,000 for its early customers, the RD6 is being welcomed as a bold move to expand Pakistan’s electric vehicle market, which has so far been dominated by smaller EVs and hybrids.
Performance That Stands Out
Manufactured by Radar Auto, a subsidiary of China’s renowned Geely Auto Group, the Riddara RD6 is built for both power and practicality. Globally, it runs on a 315 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, it is generating an impressive 595 Nm of torque. This permits the pickup to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, making it as highly appealing as it is functional.
With a top speed of 190 km/h and a driving range of up to 455 km, indebted to its 86 kWh ternary lithium battery, the RD6 is designed for both city commutes and longer journeys.
For convenience, it supports fast DC charging, allowing drivers to charge from 30% to 80% in just a minimum time duration of 32 minutes — a key feature for those constantly on the move.

The RD6 isn’t just about power; it’s also about comfort and style. The interior is composed of synthetic leather seats, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and multi-mode driving options such as sport and off-road, making it versatile for business users, families, and adventure seekers alike.
A New Era for Pakistan’s Auto Market
The launch of the RD6 is depicting a shift in Pakistan’s automotive sector toward sustainable transport solutions.
As the fuel prices rising and awareness of environmental concerns increasing, vehicles like the RD6 could pave the way for wider EV adoption.
For Pakistani consumers, the RD6 is not just a pickup truck — it depicts the start of a cleaner, more innovative automotive future.
